In September, the twins started preschool. I really wished that they would have been able to start Kindergarten but having been born in October they have to wait one more year. We found a great Preschool in the Sandy area near my work. They go Monday and Wed from 8:45 to 11:00 am. They are with 8 other kids in their class which is great because there are not as many kids their age in a neighborhood. They are starting to learn their alphabet and also learning how to write their first name. I thought that it would have been hard for them to go because it would be a new routine but they actually love it and that makes me happy. Joshua was sad the first few times that we would drop them off because he could not go with them and do what they were doing, but now he enjoys his one on one time with myself or his dad.
I took some pics of them in their new school clothes and of course Josh had to join in on the pics.
We had a pass for the Discovery gateway which is the childrens museum in our area. The kids LOVE going there and playing.
Also in September, we took the kids to the Salt Lake Temple and walked around the plaza. It was a beautiful day.
Then this last week, the twins preschool went on their first field trip They went to Gardner Village for A Witch Scavanger Hunt It was fun. I got to see Ashleigh with her first girlfriend. They held hands for awhile, I thought it was cute but was unable to get a pic, but they played ring-around-the rosies. Matthew was funny, he seemed like he was kind of jealous when another classmate was paying attention to Ashleigh. But I am glad that they have friends now but yet want to spend time together still.
