General Conference

This last weekend, our family had a great time listening to General Conference. It was also Easter weekend. I think it is a nice way to celebrate Easter by listening to the Prophet and all the general authorities. My spirit has been feed and i was able to hear and think about the things that have been waying down in my heart.
One thing that came to mind way a talk about trials. The speaker was in the Sunday afternoon session and I am not sure who it was. He talked about that instead of complaining about a trial that we are experiencing we should figure out what it is that we need to learn from it. All our trials are given from Heavenly Father to help us grow spiritually and that through trials are deepest blessings are granted.
I have presonally have gone through some trails lately and it was good to hear that I need to stay close to heavenly Father and learn from my trials and grow from them and then I will be richly blessed by my obediance and enduring the trial.
I also love general conference and to hear the talks that have been prepared by the leaders of the church and to take time to learn from them of the things that Heavenly Father wants me to learn. It is usually hard to have to wait another 6 months for gerenal conference to be back on again, but with church attendance and reading the published talks, I know I will not have to wait too long.
I hope that all of you who had the chance to watch or listen to confrence, felt spritually feed and found at least one thing that you can do to improve you faithfullness in the gospel. And then take the time to study the words when they are published.
