Tonight at the park and my longing for a house change.

This evening, I decided that since Chris was going to be late getting off work and the twins were very energetic, I would take them to a park. We have a playground at the condo's with a couple of slides but I took them to Murray where there are also some swings. The park is at the river bottoms off of 5400 S.
The twins were really excited when I pulled into the parking lot of the park. They had no idea where I was going. At the park there was about a dozen of children there and because there is not very many children for them to play with at the condo's or our ward, they were in heaven.
Matthew found a couple of boys that were about his size and you could hear him laughing as he ran around the playground with them. Ashleigh found one little girl who she stuck to like glue and told me the she was her "new friend."
They both enjoyed the swings and giggled as I pushed them and they kept asking me to push them higher and faster. They also enjoyed the slides.
When we got home and I got them bathed, they did not argue going to bed and they fell asleep fast from exhaustion.
I am glad that they had fun. It makes my wanting a house with a fenced backyard with a swing set and a place to run around and be kids plus a neighborhood with more children to interact with greater. I do love my home and my neighbors but I need that "house" space for my children. Here is to hoping that it will be in the near future.

Hi Cathy! I just found your blog and added you to our blog list. Hopefully I'll see you at church one of these days if we ever get back there!
