Our youngest son, turned one today. It was a bitter sweet day just because this year went by so fast and we are not ready for the process of having another quite yet.
Our sweet little one, was happy the moment he got up this morning. The twins were excited to help me wrap his presents and help him open them. The twins gave him the recently released Pinoccio, the he got 3 outfits, a cash register toy, a book, a toddler blanket and a mickey mouse plush.
At noon, we headed over to the Valley Fair Mall to the Kiddie Kandids to take his pictures and get his free 8X10 picture. Joshua was not very happy and wanted to cry so, we went back at 2:30 to try again and he was a much happier baby.
After the pictures, We headed over to the Chuckie Cheese in Sandy for his family birthday party. It only was Chris and I and our three children, but they all had fun.
Then at the end of the night we came home to sign Happy Birthday to him and have cake. He was not quiet sure what to do with it and was not really interested in it. But I did get some photos with him playing with the frosting in his hands.
It has been such a joy to have him in our family and we cannot imagine our life without him. He is starting to walk more on his own now and I think that it will not be much longer that he will get the walking by himself down. We are looking forward to what his 2nd year of life will bring and all the wonderful things that he will accomplish this next year.
WE LOVE YOU JOSHUA
